ICCI 2026: Where Vision Becomes Reality
Held alongside the leading international construction exhibition UzBuild, the International Conference of Construction Industry – ICCI is a cornerstone event for professionals driving the future of construction in Uzbekistan and across Central Asia. Organised by Congresses of Central Asia and Iteca Exhibitions, ICA Eurasia Group, the upcoming edition will take place on 10–12 February 2026 at the CAEx Uzbekistan Exhibition Complex, Tashkent.
The conference brings together government officials, industry associations, and leading experts to explore key trends, regulatory shifts, and breakthrough opportunities in the construction sector.
The 2026 theme, “New Uzbekistan: From Vision to Large-Scale Solutions,” reflects the country’s ambitious transformation agenda and rapidly evolving urban landscape.
A Booming Construction Market
Uzbekistan’s construction sector is on a dynamic growth path. In just the first half of 2024, construction output reached US$6.22 billion — a 10.1% year-on-year increase. Under the ambitious Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, a wave of large-scale infrastructure projects is underway:
Expansion of the Tashkent Metro, with 10 new stations and a 15-km second ring line
Development of Tashkent City, a state-of-the-art urban complex spanning 80 hectares
Delivery of 200+ key infrastructure assets including roads, bridges, and industrial zones
Unprecedented Investment Momentum
Uzbekistan is setting new records in foreign investment. In 2025 alone, the government plans to attract US$42 billion, with US$8.7 billion already secured in Q1. A significant share of this capital is dedicated to housing, energy, and social infrastructure development.
Key regional projects include:
- Tashkent Region: 125 projects worth US$26 billion, with strong foreign investment from China, Türkiye, South Korea, and other countries.
- Andijan Region: Construction of 190 multi-storey residential buildings as part of a US$2.5 billion development plan
- Khorezm Region: 18 new projects valued at US$660 million, covering residential developments, hotels, medical centres, and solar power plants.
As part of the New Uzbekistan Programme, the government has launched a fast-track housing initiative:
- Strict construction deadlines: 2 months for design, 3 months to break ground
- Land plots are retracted if timelines are not met
- Major mortgage reform introduced in 2024, including:
- UZS 22.5 trillion allocated for housing loans
- Introduction of escrow accounts
- Elimination of mandatory collateral insurance
- Enhanced transparency in transactions and buyer protection
