About the conference
Traditionally, one of the key events in the construction industry of the region, the "International Conference of the Construction Industry - ICCI", is held as part of the international exhibition "Construction - UzBuild". This event, organised by CCA, Iteca Exhibitions, and ICA Eurasia Group, will take place on February 25–26, 2025, at the CAEx exhibition complex in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The conference brings together representatives of government bodies, industry associations, unions, and leading market experts to discuss key trends, challenges, and prospects for the development of the construction industry. The main theme of the 2025 conference will be "The Construction Potential of the New Uzbekistan."
Uzbekistan's construction industry is experiencing significant growth. In the first half of 2024, the volume of completed construction works amounted to $6.22 billion, which is 10.1% higher compared to the same period of the previous year. As part of the "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy, several key projects are planned, including the construction of 10 new stations for the Tashkent Metro, the second phase of the circular metro line spanning 15 km, the development of the large-scale Tashkent City complex covering 80 hectares, and the completion of more than 200 infrastructure facilities, such as roads, bridges, and industrial zones.
Special attention is being given to attracting foreign investments. In 2023, investments in the construction sector exceeded $3 billion, with the industry's contribution to GDP surpassing 6%. It is expected that these figures will grow further by 2025, driven by new programs and projects.
At the unique ICCI 2025 platform, attendees will not only have the opportunity to showcase their technologies and services but also to establish key connections that will open avenues for involvement in large-scale investment projects, the implementation of infrastructure initiatives, and the expansion of collaboration within Uzbekistan's and Central Asia's construction industry.
