100 residential areas “New Uzbekistan” will be built in the country by 2030
To this end, in Uzbekistan over the past ten years, the amount of housing built annually has increased 10 times. In 2025, this figure reached 238 thousand, and in 2030 it will increase 1.5 times. The budget allocates about $2 billion a year for affordable housing programs.
In addition, to solve the problem of informal housing, a separate law was adopted in 2024, documents were drawn up for almost 100 thousand houses. The share of renovation as part of the renewal of dilapidated housing is planned to be increased from 15 to 60%.
To effectively manage these processes, the National Urbanization Committee has been created.
