Post Exhibition Review: Trends and Outlooks of Construction Industry of Uzbekistan at UzBuild 2025
The 26th Uzbekistan International Construction Exhibition - UzBuild 2025 was held on a grand scale on February 25-27, 2025, in Tashkent and by tradition opened the 30th anniversary exhibition season of Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company and its partner ICA Eurasia Group. For the first time in Uzbekistan, the exposition of UzBuild 2025 was presented concurrently at two exhibition venues - Uzexpocentre NEC and CAEx Uzbekistan. The Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week included a series of different construction and interior expositions: UzBuild, BuildTech, Woodtech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan, as well as the ICCI Construction Conference.
UzBuild, which deservedly has a status of the flagship international construction exhibition in Central Asia in virtue of its creative approach to effectively promote the construction business, received the certificate of the Event Approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) back in 2007. It is awarded to the events that have contributed towards development of the national economy of the host country and are recognized by the international exhibition community, and this status should be confirmed on a regular basis. This year, the exhibition has successfully underwent an audit once again, reaffirming its status as an event that meets high international standards.
Every year UzBuild exhibition becomes a centre of attraction for experts, manufacturers and suppliers, and serves as a convenient platform for demonstrating the latest trends and an effective tool for promoting their products and technologies. The widest range of the exposition reflects the concept of UzBuild - ensuring the construction process from an idea to implementation, that is, demonstrating the entire chain of the process - from design to interior.
More than 400 companies and brands from 21 countries have participated in UzBuild 2025: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Georgia, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, South Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, the UAE, Poland, Russia, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan. The share of foreign participants made up to 75%. China, Russia, Türkiye, Germany, and Great Britain ranked the Top 5 in the number of participants among foreign countries. The companies from Uzbekistan composed a quarter of the total number of exhibitors.
The exhibition registered over 17,000 professional visits from 21 countries. It is a clear indication of its importance for industry specialists as an effective platform for exchanging experience, getting familiar with the latest equipment and technologies required for all construction stages - from design to creating a comfortable space. The surveys and face-to-face communication have confirmed that participation in the exhibition for the vast majority of exhibitors has been productive in terms of establishing business contacts, finding partners and customers.
The key event of the business program at UzBuild was the 6th International Conference of the Construction Industry - ICCI 2025, which spotlighted the Construction Potential of New Uzbekistan. The Conference brought together many international experts, representatives of the leading development companies, world-famous architectural bureaus, consulting and manufacturing companies, experts in the field of sustainable development and innovative technologies. The comprehensive conference program addressed key issues related to the outlook of Uzbekistan's construction sector amid dynamic development, its transformation, emerging opportunities for developers, modern technology transfer, innovative solutions, energy efficiency, and the implementation of the New Uzbekistan and New Tashkent projects. The discussions were driven by 40 speakers and attended by 650 delegates from 10 countries.
A head of the Oliy Majlis Committee of Uzbekistan, top managers of relevant ministries, the Tashkent City Khokimiyat, foreign missions and agencies were among the honoured guests of the exhibition and Conference.
