The first experimental building with a complete seismic protection system will be built in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. By 2027, the first experimental multi-storey residential building will be built in Uzbekistan using special seismic protection technologies.
This is provided for by the new “road map” approved by government decree on November 17, 2025
The project will be created jointly with a foreign company that has experience in the construction of seismically insulated buildings. Local specialists will also be involved at the site - thus the state plans to prepare a new professional school for designers.
The experimental construction will become the basis for updating national building codes and introducing modern methods for designing buildings in seismic zones.
